AHHW uses a “classroom without walls” model that connects coursework with community-based learning, career exploration, and applied experiences. This approach helps prepare you for your first job after graduation, graduate school, or professional training.
Through this academically rigorous major, you will study compassion science, the human experience, relational communication, ethics, culture, and wellbeing while building expertise in critical inquiry, research, writing, cultural competency, and evidence-informed approaches to improving health and wellbeing. You’ll also have opportunities to observe, engage, reflect, and apply what you’re learning.
